Photos: Shoreline Mafia Paid In Full Tour at House Of Blues

Los Angeles rap group Shoreline Mafia brought their boisterous sound to Chicago for the Paid In Full tour. The sold out show was held at the House of Blues where fans lit up the venue and sung word for word as Ohgeesy and Fenix performed favorites such as Whuss the deal, Bottle service, Bands and Musty. The groups performance energized the crowd as they interacted with the fans, and got deeper into the set list. The group also payed homage to native Chicago rapper Chief keef as ohgeesy got in the crowd and had his Dj play his banger “Earned it”. They performed new songs off their mixtape “Party Pack.Vol 2” before they closed out the show with hit “Nun Major”. The show is one to remember, live the moment through our lens from the Paid In Full tour.

The Life’s A Trip Tour made it’s way to the House of Blues Chicago for a spectacular show. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones rock the House of Blues in support of “While We Are At It”

With Riot Fest only a few weeks away, getting a punk/ska show in to prepare is not a bad idea.  And what better way than with seeing one of the bands that were one of the highlights of last year’s Riot Fest, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. For their current tour, its in support of their new album, While We’re At It. They also brought along two great opening acts.  The Crombies, who hail from right here in Chicago, and Mustard Plug from Grand Rapids Michigan. The Crombies are a band…

The Key To Life Tour with The Lox, Griselda, Smoke DZA and More Hit House of Blues with plenty of Lyrics

Hip-hop is from the streets. It was created by the poor and disenfranchised who made art out of whatever could make a sound or could be used as a canvas around them. Hip-hop’s streets returned to the House of Blues Chicago last night. Street music is alive and well, thanks to the Key To Life Tour in case anyone was wondering. The Lox, Griselda, Smoke DZA, Statik Selektah and DJ Green Lantern all brought the grime of hip-hop back to the forefront of House of Blues Chicago with the Key…
