Interview with A Tribe Called Quest’s Phife Dawg before he passed away

Malik “Phife Dawg” Taylor one of the founding members of A Tribe Called Quest passed away today. Phife Dawg has been in the music business for decades giving us music that will be remembered forever in music history. Although Phife was short in stature he made up for it with his lyricism and high energy. We were able to talk to this Hip-Hop legend while he visited our great city for the McDonald’s All American Game. He paid homage to some great artists from Chicago like Da Brat, Do or Die and Twista just to name a few. Its clear that Phife is still up on Hip-Hop from saying “Chance the Rapper is that next”.
