The platform is offers offline listening and is ad-free, two major draws for the streaming crowd. Signing up will get you access to 120 million songs. Not to mention – the subscription cost is only $4.99 a month.
This seems like a pretty sweet deal, and could definitely be mutually beneficial amongst artists and listeners alike. While this may cater to more mainstream artists, SoundCloud Go will surely serve the indie and underground communities just as well. This accessibility may set the service apart from more well established services like Tidal or Apple Music.
