Lil Chano from 79th already made his Saturday Night Live debut back in 2015, as a musical guest. Now, he’s heading back to the show, but this time to host. Taking over musical duties that night is none other than Eminem. Could you think of a more perfect pairing?

Hopefully, there’ll be a moment when the two will share the stage. And maybe we can get some more info about Em’s rumored new album. It all goes down November 18, so make sure you set your DVRs. Before that episode premieres, Tiffany Haddish will host the show with musical guest Taylor Swift on November 11.

Night Riots release “Little Black Dog” for a Halloween treat

Night Riots gave us a Halloween treat last week. They posted a new single on their Youtube page called “Little Black Dog.” The song has a haunting, eerie vibe that frontman Travis Hawley perfectly captures with his vocals. With mentions of spooky things and Halloween making it a new favorite for your spooky playlist. Check out the track above and download it here.

Night Riots also played a show in Chicago last week, but they’ll be back for WKQX’s The Nights We Stole Christmas. Catch Night Riots along with Rise Against and Papa Roach on November 30. Tickets are still available.

Gorillaz drop new video for ‘Garage Palace’ featuring Little Simz

Last week, the Gorillaz gave us a colorful new video for the track “Garage Palace” taken from the deluxe version of Humanz. Featuring British rapper Little Simz, the clip shows the two in an 8-bit game reaching checkpoints, completing missions, and taking down enemies. After that, they have to fight the final boss. Check it out above.

Gorillaz are currently on their European and UK tour, which features Little Simz as the opener. Tickets are on sale now.

Chicago Artist Spotlight: MusicReloaded

Chicago artist MusicReloaded is more than a singer or writer. She’s someone who gives back to the community and shares a love of music with others. Aside from releasing her own music, with her latest Single for the Summer EP out now, she works with several schools to encourage music education.

She even teaches piano in her hometown of Gary, IN. Some of the organizations she’s worked with include Chicago Children’s Choir and Musical Arts Institute. This year, she started the See Me, I Am Campaign, which aims to “eradicate the theory that the beauty of black women only lies in her strength.”

Blending electronic with soul music, her songs are smooth with a subtle groove that gets you moving. Her latest single “Hello” is out now. Make sure to check it out and watch some highlights from her House of Blues performance above.
