Wilco at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion

Chicago band Wilco are coming home for a massive summer performance at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park on August 21st. Special guests will be announced at a later time.

Wilco are one of the most beloved bands both locally and nationally. Their music is endearing and honest, while frontman Jeff Tweedy continues to reach iconic status among fans and critics. They’ve released numerous successful albums, including their 200 breakthrough Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, which reached number 13 on the Billboard 200 and is their best selling album. Last year, saw the release of their ninth album, Star Wars, which received rave reviews upon release. The record was also received¬†a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Album earlier this year. It peaked at number 10 on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums Chart. This new tour is in support of the band’s upcoming album, Schmilco, which comes out September 9th.
