What So Not, an electronic project by producer Emoh Instead, comes to Chicago’s Concord Music Hall on September 30th with special guests Anna Lunoe, Michael Christmas, and Jarreau Vandal.

What So Not began life as a collaboration between Emoh Instead and record producer Flume. The two released their debut EP, 7 Dollar Bill, in 2011. Their follow-up EP, The Quack, dropped in 2013 and featured a collaboration with Action Bronson. Since then, they’ve been lighting up dance floors and clubs around the world. Though Flume has since departed from the project, What So Not remains a fan favorite. What So Not’s 2015 track, “Gemini” featuring George Maple, peaked at number 52 on the Australian Charts. The song later appeared on the 2015 EP of the same name. The EP was downloaded over 800,000 times. It was later named one of the best releases of 2015.
