Ludovic Navarre AKA St. Germain has been making his eclectic blend of nu jazz and house fusion since 1995, when his debut album Boulevard dropped. He released his second album, From Detroit to St. Germain, four years later in 1999. He made his American debut in 2000 with Tourist. It went on to sell 300,000 in the US and over 4 million worldwide. It charted at number 5 the French charts. Last year, he shocked the world by releasing his first album in 15 years, St. Germain. The album peaked on charts worldwide, including reaching number 4 on Billboard’s Heatseakers chart. Before he hits the Coachella stage this month, St. Germain will bring his nu jazz/house fusion to Park West on April 10th. The show was previously announced at the Vic Theater, but has since moved. Tickets are on sale now, so grab them now if you’re not hitting up the festival this year.
