We’ve been waiting eagerly for the next single from The Boy Illinois, but now we won’t have to. Lupe Fiasco jumped the gun and leaked The Boy Illinois’ new video, “Ruling Class,” on Twitter. The tweet reads: “New joint from my bro @TheBoyIllinois Ruling Class.” You can watch the video below.

25th Floor serves as producer for the single, while FlyKite directed the video. It also pays homage to the classic “If I Ruled the World” by Nas and Lauryn Hill with a modernized interpretation. The Boy Illinois gives an account of his world, with the melodic voice of Drey Skonie floating in the background with the retro hook. The scenery is set in the exclusive Gold Pyramid House. It’s a way to show Illi’s acknowledgement of history, culture, and what makes us who we are as a people and individuals.

The single comes from his upcoming project Home Court Advantage. There’s no official release date for the record, but it should be out soon.
