With so many music festivals and various neighborhood street festivals growing throughout Chicago, fans of practically any type of music can find a dedicated weekend for their interests. However, one that hasn’t been directly addressed was Latin alternative music. Enter: Ruido Fest.
The inaugural Ruido Fest took place in Pilsen this past weekend featuring dozens of Latino bands covering a wide spectrum of “Latin alternative music,” including reggae, funk, rock, punk, house, techno, and more.
