Pusha T and Lil Bibby at the VIC THEATRE

Apr 5, 2016
Pusha T, rapper, Clipse

Time: 7:00 pm

Tickets: Get’Em

Pusha T found his big break back in the early 2000s when he formed the hip hop group Clipse with his brother Gene “No Malice” Thronton. The group’s debut album Lord Willin’ was met with critical acclaim and produced the hit singles “Grindin’,” “Cot Damn,” and “When The Last Time.” The duo released two more albums before calling quits in 2014. But Pusha T kept the music going with his successful solo career. Last year saw the release of his second album King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude. It spawned the singles “Untouchable,” “M.F.T.R.,” and “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets.” It even reached number 20 on the Billboard 200 chart. His next LP, King Push, is slated to come out later this year. The rapper is currently on tour and will hit up Chicago April 5th to play at the Vic Theatre. Chicago’s own Lil’ Bibby will be the support act.
