Pig Destroyer have been a staple of the grindcore scene since their debut in the late 90s. Since their 1998 debut album Explosions in Ward 6, there have been some changes in the line up, but the music is always brutal. We haven’t gotten any new music from the band since 2013’s EP Mass & Volume, but later this year will see the re-release of their 2001 classic Prowler In The Yard as a double disc special via Relapse. Deluxe LP versions of their albums Terrifyer and Phantom Limb are also available via Relapse. The band are hitting the road this year with some new music on the way, hopefully. They’ll be playing at Chicago’s Reggie’s Rock Club on April 8th. Call of the Void, La Armada, and Dethbeds are also on the bill.
