Pop rock band Parachute got their start back in 2006 playing shows and promoting their music. They didn’t release their first studio album, Losing Sleep until 2009. It went on to reach number 40 on the Billboard Charts. This was followed by their successful second album, The Way It Was in 2011 and Overnight in 2013. Earlier this month they released their fourth album Wide Awake and are hitting the road to support the record. The tour kicks off March 26 in their hometown of Charlottesville, VA and wrap up May 7 in St Louis, MO. The band are coming back to Chicago to play The House of Blues on April 7th. Pop rock singer/songwriter Jon McLaughinlin will be joining the band as the opening act for most dates, including the Chicago date.
