Alternative rock band Nada Surf have been around since the mid 90s and are still going strong. Their debut, Hi/Low, reached no. 63 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the hit single “Popular.” Six more albums were to follow including Let Go (2002), The Weight is a Gift (2005), and If I Had a Hi-Fi (2010). After taking a break from the band in 2013 for a Minor Alps collaboration wit Juliana Hatfield, frontman and songwriter Matthew Caws returned to the band with more vigor and ready to write once again. The band released their seventh album, You Know Who You Are, earlier this year and has been met with favorable reviews from critics. Nada Surf are currently touring in support of the new record and will play Thalia Hall on May 12th. Indie folk band Good Old War will be joining them as the supporting act.
