Words can barely describe how amazing Midwest Ska Fest 2015 was last Saturday, August 8th, at the Double Door. With a bill featuring 12 amazing ska bands, giveaways from Jump Up! Records, Revolution Brewing, Dark Matter Coffee, and Riot Fest, and a crowd ready to skank and mosh to some of the best modern ska bands, and even a surprise marriage proposal, Midwest Ska Fest 2015 proved that the ska community is alive and kicking in Chicago!

The festival was kicked off at 2pm, then went practically non-stop straight to 10:30pm with an eclectic mix of ska bands influenced from a large list of genres from traditional ska, roots reggae, pop-punk, ska/punk, and more. Thanks to everybody that helped make Midwest Ska Fest 2015 the biggest one yet! If you couldn’t make it out to Midwest Ska Fest 2015 or simply want to re-live the day, you can stream the entire show here.
