Jeff Tweedy at Vic Theatre

Jeff Tweedy is better known for his work in Chicago band Wilco, who released their ninth studio album, Star Wars, in 2015. The album made the Billboard chart several times, including reaching no. 18 on the Rock Charts and no. 8 on the Independent Albums chart. When he’s not playing with the band, Tweedy is working on his own music and playing acoustic shows around the country. He’s also known for his work in other bands Uncle Tupelo and White Denim. He also recently started his own band dubbed TWEEDY featuring his son Spencer, who released their debut album Sukierae in 2014. A solo Jeff Tweedy returns to Chicago this year to play two nights at The Vic Theatre as part of an annual fundraiser to benefit education on May 13th and 14th.
