David Gilmour is a legend in his own right being the guitarist and co-lead vocalist for the iconic band Pink Floyd. He returns to the band occasionally for special performances and reunions, but lately he’s been focused on his solo material. His fourth solo album, Rattle that Lock, was released last year. To celebrate the release of his first album in 10 years, he launched a solo tour that was so successful he added a new string of dates for 2016. Gilmour will be playing two dates in Chicago, April 4th and 8th at the United Center. This will be followed by two shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Gilmour released his debut self-titled solo LP in 1978. He’s released four more solo albums since then.
