Electric Beach brought their talents to Chicago at the beautiful, RoofontheWit. The venue itself was stunning, offering gorgeous views of the city, an outdoor balcony, spacious lounge area, and a dance hall.
The atmosphere was laidback, one that I did not expect. Some guests were sitting in the lounge-area throwing back beers, enjoying the scene and the company. Guests in the dance hall were bobbing their heads, and while not many people were dancing, it seemed like everyone was having a good time. DJ Whiiite played mellowed out versions of EDM and hip-hop tracks, giving RoofontheWit more of a “hip lounge” vibe than a rager.
I would have personally liked to see a larger dance party happening because we arrived about an hour or two before the end in hopes to catch the party in full swing. Were we disappointed? Not at all. However, considering this was Electric Beach’s first trip to Chicago, it was a grand debut, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll have in store for us next time.
