Borns at The Metro

July 21, 2016
Garrett Borns

Ever wondered what music would be the soundtrack for dreams? It might sound something like Borns. Garrett Borns AKA Borns, has been becoming a critical and fan favorite since he dropped his debut EP A Dream Between in 2012. His blend of folk, glam, and electro rock makes for an out of this world listening experience. It’s dreamy and spacey in the best possible way. The artists dropped his second EP, Candy, in 2014, which peaked at no. 2 on Billboard’s Heatseeker’s Chart. His fanbase and adulation grew with the release of his full length debut Dopamine in 2015. It received critical praise all around and landed at no. 24 on the Billboard 200, while it came in at no.2 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums. If you want to see one of the most talked about and acclaimed artists of the past two years, then catch Borns’ show at the Metro. Tickets were so in demand, the artist added another date and will now be playing two nights in the city: July 21st – 22nd. Supporting acts will be Muna and Beau.
