Chicago-based singer, songwriter and producer Anthony Pavel has teamed up with Chicago Tribune’s Red Eye for the release of his debut EP Windows. Boasting infectious pop gems such as “Herstory” featuring Saba and “Runaway“, the 6-track offering makes for a strong introduction, beautifully showcasing Pavel’s vocal range, soulful vibes, and charm. If this is an indication of what is to come from Pavel we look forward to hearing more music.
Pavel will co-headline a double release show on Friday, April 8th at First Ward @ The Chop Shop, along with hip-hop/ jazz collective Zaramela, who will also be releasing their album Realized on April 5th.
As a Chicago-based artist and producer, Anthony Pavel is well known throughout the city and the music community, with production credits on Saba’s Comfort Zone mixtape and a vocal credit on “Back Home” featuring Mos Def on A$AP Rocky’s album At.Long.Last.A$AP. Pavel was also featured on “Food For Thought” a jazz-infused collaboration with IKON, Saba, NoName Gypsy, and Malcolm London.
